FOTECHEM 2076 WR water-resistant screen filler

Blue screen filler designed for water-based inks and adhesives (textile and ceramic printing). It is self-drying and its low viscosity lets it penetrate the mesh easily. Use it with water-resistant stencil emulsions.

• Colour: blue
• Air drying: 3 hours at room temperature, or 30 minutes at 40-50 °C
• Water resistance can be increased with FOTECHEM 2119 hardener
• Not solvent resistant: for solvent-based inks, choose a standard screen filler
• Packaging: 1 kg pot

Directions for use

Apply with a brush, squeegee or piece of cardboard onto the open areas of the exposed, washed-out and dry stencil, usually on the print side. Scrape it evenly into the mesh. If necessary, apply a second coat on the other side of the screen. While the filler is on the screen, clean it with water or mineral spirits only, never with solvents.

Decoating: FOTECHEM 2076 WR is difficult to remove; use a screen printing decoater, as a paste or a concentrate.

Shelf life: 12 months in the sealed original container, stored in a cool place.
